The Registrar of Inheritance has many powers that enable him to handle requests in a professional and efficient manner. These powers are enshrined in the Inheritance Law, 5725-1965, and the Inheritance Regulations.

When does the succession registrar have no authority?

Despite the extensive powers of the Registrar of Inheritance, there are areas in which he does not have the authority to handle, and they require a referral to the Family Court.
